Rev. Daniel J. Doty, Senior Minister 

Trinity Church is served by Senior Minister the Rev Mr. Daniel J. Doty. Rev. Doty comes to us having served congregations in Illinois and Ohio. Dan has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Bowling Green State University. He taught in two public school systems in Ohio before perceiving his call to ministry. Upon completing candidate studies, Dan attended Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Evanston, IL and earned a Master of Divinity degree in 1998. Ordained in The United Methodist Church in 1998, Dan completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Rev. Doty also brings a musical background to Trinity Church (click here for his website). He has studied voice for many years and performed in several operas. Dan was a participant in the I Solisti di Lucca. The Solisti program run by the University of Cincinnati is an operatic performing venue for emerging artists at the Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca in Lucca Italy during the summer of 2002. Dan spent six week in the Tuscan village of Lucca performing operatic material in the hometown of opera’s greatest composer Giacomo Puccini. Dan is married to Amy who is a fifth grade teacher in the Buckeye Local School System. They have three children Kristian, Sean, and Kaetlyn.
